Dewayne Thomas started his first job in the electrical industry in 1999. From there he started to learn the basics and moved on to other companies where he learned everything from residential and commercial, to industrial. In 2013 he decided to take the leap and start his own business. When his business in was in the planning stages, his goal was to take the fear out of hiring a contractor. He said he did not want people that had a problem to be afraid to call an electrician. When electricity is involved there is usually an element of fear involved as well. While electricity can be scary, finding an electrician that is fair priced and trustworthy shouldn’t be scary. Dewayne just wants his customers to be able to get electrical repairs and upgrades without breaking the bank.
In 2013 Thomas Electrical Solutions in Canton GA started out with a handful of customers and faith that God would direct the business where it needed to go. We took out ads in local newsletters, WLJA radio ads, and contacted the Chamber of Commerce. We also took some time to go to local businesses to introduce our company. After a year of working on establishing the business, Dewayne hired his brother in law, Mike Stewart, to serve the growing customer base. As the company continued to grow, Dewayne and Mike, enjoyed getting to know our customers and helping them find the most affordable way to take care of their projects.
Over five years later, Thomas Electrical Solutions, will take care of residential and commercial projects. We strive to treat each customer’s job as if it were our only one.
